Harley
2013 - 2025
Our dear baby Harley, you came to us at a time I WASN'T even sure I wanted another dog. So sweet and full of spunk. You were 9 weeks old. We fell in love with you immediately. You won the hearts of EVERYONE you knew. We got you in 2013 and in 2016 we got you a sister. She quickly let you know at her young 8 weeks old, she was the boss and you were ok with that. You were so gentle and loving With her. You two were INSEPARABLE. In 2023 we found out you had bladder cancer and that we might only have you a couple more months. We were devastated. We took you to kstate and started treatment. Everyone there fell in love with you. And loved when we came up. We decided to get you and your sister a brother so it might help her cope with losing you. She hated her new brother but you took him under your wing and loved him so much. You protected him at all costs from the crazy sister. She eventually grew to love him like you did. We had decided when we started treatment that if your quality of life suffered or you were in pain we would try to let you go. You were such a trooper and did so well with all of your treatments we were blessed to have you 2 extra years. In the end you let us know you had grown tired and were done with the treatments. We had to make the most heartbreaking decision to let you go but we knew we owed that to you. I pray you are in heaven living your best life cancer free and happy. We love you so much Harley. Until we meet again…..
